After several minutes of MUNI bus ride, Vincent arrives at his destination. He is looking around, trying to find the newspaper stand that the voice mentions.
At last, he sees one in the dark corner; it’s closed.
He walks there, looks up, down, and then around it.
Finally, He finds a package at the backside, wrapped in newspaper, placed obscure enough from the normal eyes, which is apparently not a problem for Vincent.
Then he went home to his apartment, and open up the package. It’s a military grade laptop that is locked tightly. He tries to open it, but he just can’t find a way to do so. Confused, he just stares at it. He said to himself “What do I this with this?”
Suddenly a female voice comes out from the box. “Voice recognition, confirmed.” The laptop locks open automatically.
Vincent hesitates for a couple of seconds, and then he opens it. The female voice comes up again “Put your finger on the glowing red fingerprint scanner and look straight to the webcam.”
Vincent follows the order.
As his finger print is scanned, the webcam emits a green light-- it’s a retinal scanner.
Moments later, the screen comes on. He sees a silhouette of a person in the shadow. The garbled mechanical voice from the phone call comes on. “Hello Vincent”.

The Voice calls him again “Vincent?”
The Voice calls him again “Vincent?”
“Yeah, I’m here”
The Voice says “Are you up to this? It seems you are not yourself today”
Vincent mutters to himself “I guess not”
“What?”
“Nothing”
“Good. Shall we continue?” A picture comes up in the screen.
“This is Benjamin Rabinowitz, the fourth member of the Temple Guardian. I want him eliminated. Remember; leave no trace back to you.”
Vincent thinks to himself outloud “Eliminated?”
The voice says “Is there any problem?” Silence.
“Good. He will be in Los Angeles tomorrow night, staying at Holiday Inn Express in Santa Monica Boulevard room 205. You will find your plane ticket in a white envelope of the right pocket of this laptop. Your silencer gun is on the bottom compartment, along with a disposable cell phone. After you are done with this job, press 1 in the speed dial. We will send someone to pick you up. Keep this laptop with you for further communication.”
Then the screen goes blank.
